About the Harris Clinic

The Harris Clinic provides a soothing, relaxing experience for its guests in the setting of a professional medical environment.

The Harris Clinic's philosophy as a professional medical facility is to utilize only treatments and therapies that have a proven track record through reliable scientific research.  You can be sure that the treatments you are receiving will give real results.  Your treatment is not just about "getting a procedure done" - our trained physicians integrate healthy lifestyle recommendations in the treatments we suggest so that you may protect the valuable investment you are making in yourself.

Our philosophy also maintains that not only should individuals pursue treatments that enhance their outward beauty and appearance, but also to care and pay attention to their inner wellbeing and health.  As such, the Harris Clinic offers whole body wellness services, performed by trusted, licensed and professional members of our health care system.

For your safety and trust, our procedures are performed only by qualified, licensed professionals.  The Harris Clinic uses only sterile equipment and supplies and offer services in a professional, physician-supervised environment.

Our equipment is new, the latest and state-of-the-art to achieve the type of results you desire.  We ensure our facilities are meticulously clean and sterile.  Services are provided with a commitment to professionalism, confidentiality and discreetness.

Built in the 1860s, the Harris Clinic operates in the childhood home of renowned Group of Seven painter, Lawren Stewart Harris.  Harris was born in Brantford in 1885.

The Clinic serves the community as both a family medicine practice and Laser Arts clinic and is named in honour of the artist since we feel the practice of medicine, medical aesthetics and whole body wellness are all art-forms.

During renovations in 2001, great care was taken to preserve the fixtures of the home as it was transformed into a medical clinic with an "art gallery" type feel.

Lawren Stewart Harris (1885-1970)

The Brantford Heritage home was converted into a medical facility in 2001 by Dr. Raza Khan.  Prior to this, it was a personal residence.

The home is filled with beautiful antique woodwork, mirrors, stained glass, hardwood floors and fireplaces.  Two of the five functional antique fireplaces in the 5,400 sq. foot former personal residence are located in treatment rooms providing a warm, relaxing, home-like atmosphere.

Special halogen spot-lighting, ten donated Group of Seven prints from the McMichael Art Collection of Toronto, and numerous prints acquired from Koyman Galleries in Ottawa, Ontario, create a truly unique art-gallery look and feel in the Clinic.

The Harris Clinic wishes to express its thanks and appreciation to the family and Estate of Lawren S. Harris for permission to use Mr. Harris' name and his art work at our Clinic to commemorate his life and the magnificent artistic contribution he has made to Canadian society.
